Languages

Introduction
Languages are one of my main interests. At a certain point in life I thought, how nice would it be if I actually can say some words to the person who is driving the taxi in their own language.

The languages have more or less rolled into my life when I had an opportunity, I took that to learn some words. I have learned Japaense (advanced) by almost daily interacting with people in Japanese companies, as well as some Portugese (moderate), Hindi (some) and a few other languages. To maintain all these languages takes a lot of time and effort because if the language is not close to you, one forgets it quickly, but you pick it up faster when you already have a basis. It's great to try to speak to people in their own language, not to mention the fun you will have. Also, people will appreciate it, even subconsciously that you do your best to make an effort

Over time, I have created Excel sheets to store language findings I had when daily learning the languages from other people. Eventually after 20 years the vocabulary became pretty big. So below here is this 'project' to map many different laguages and categorize the words. I cannot guarantee that the content is entirely correct because some words were not correctly translated as a verb or noun from google translate, so it is an ongoing improvement.

Feel free to use it if you want for learning.

And, if anyone would like to help me improve the lists, of course be welcome!
